Visit to Nottingham Trent University

Visit to Nottingham Trent University

From 18 to 22 August 2025, Dr. Marta Grześko-Nyczka, lecturer at the Institute of Pedagogy, took part in an academic visit to Nottingham Trent University (NTU).

The stay focused on strengthening international cooperation, which began during the seminar on innovations in academic didactics organized in Leszno in June 2025. Discussions with NTU staff covered opportunities for joint publications, student and staff exchanges, and the development of a long-term partnership agreement between the universities.

Dr. Grześko-Nyczka also met with NTU’s representative, Philippa Thompson, to discuss ongoing collaboration within the project “Building Playful Bridges in Academic Pedagogy.” The second international seminar on academic didactics, co-organized with partners from Finland and Portugal, will take place soon.

During her stay, Dr. Grześko-Nyczka had the opportunity to explore NTU’s modern teaching spaces, designed to foster active learning, group work, and community building.

The visit, carried out under the Erasmus+ program, represents an important step in furthering the internationalization of both teaching and research at our University and the Institute of Pedagogy.
