Modern laboratories, advanced equipment, and a space designed with future engineers in mind. The Academic Centre for Engineering and Technology provides students with even greater opportunities to develop practical skills and competences sought after in the labour market.
The Academic Centre for Engineering and Technology consists of:
1. Manufacturing Technology Laboratory
The laboratory is equipped with 13 computer workstations featuring CNC/CAM software, including Sinumerik 840D, AutoCAD, Inventor 3D, and Fusion CAM. The facilities also include a 3D printer, a 3D scanner, a CNC-controlled lathe, a conventional lathe with a digital position readout, a universal drilling and milling machine with a digital position readout and a cast-iron base, and a vertical milling machine with three-axis digital position readout.
The laboratory is also equipped with a welding simulator, heat-treatment furnaces, and measurement sets and workstations, including equipment from manufacturers such as Mitutoyo.

2. Materials Strength Laboratory
The laboratory is equipped with a two-column universal testing machine with a maximum load capacity of 50 kN, a Charpy impact tester, a beam deflection testing station, a column buckling testing station, Brinell, Rockwell, and Vickers hardness testers, as well as a laboratory microscope.

3. Robotics and PLC Control Systems Laboratory
The laboratory is equipped with PLC training modules, a KUKA KR 4 R600 industrial robot with KUKA Sim workstation software, Festo EduKit control system training kits, PLC workstations with Festo frequency inverters, and Festo training systems for stepper motor and servo drive control

4. Mechatronics and Automation Laboratory
The laboratory is equipped with a modular production line comprising an insulation and transport station, a drilling and drilling inspection station, a three-axis manipulator station, an inspection and measurement station, and a storage and sorting station, as well as an industrial automation training system featuring an Industry 4.0 Smart Factory module, a conveyor belt, a miniature Cartesian manipulator, an automatic gate with a signal tower, Festo intelligent sensors, a Festo pneumatics workstation, an STM32L4 (Cortex-M4) microcontroller programming workstation, a mini CNC milling machine, a workstation with stepper and DC motors, and a 3D printing workstation

5. Electrical Engineering and Electronics Laboratory
The laboratory is equipped with the UniTrain training system featuring both virtual and real measuring instruments, as well as educational sets covering the fundamentals of electrical engineering, electronics, and electrical metrology. Practical exercises are conducted using three dedicated electrical engineering workstations.
6. Laboratorium urządzeń elektrycznych
W laboratorium znajdują się: stanowiska szkoleniowe dla energoelektroniki na komponentach przemysłowych, stanowiska szkoleniowe dla technologii serwonapędów i silników elektrycznych, stanowiska szkoleniowe do badania transformatorów elektrycznych na komponentach przemysłowych, wirtualna spawarka.
