Academic Centre for Engineering and Technology – where theory meets practice
Modern laboratories, advanced equipment, and a space designed for future engineers. The Institute of Technology has launched the Academic Centre for Engineering and Technology at the Jan Amos Komeński State University of Applied Sciences in Leszno, creating new opportunities for students to gain practical competences sought after on the labour market.

The Centre is located on the ground floor of the University Library building at Opalińskich Street in Leszno.

In the engineering and manufacturing laboratories, students work with equipment including a universal testing machine, a Charpy impact tester, technical microscopes, welding trainers, and heat-treatment furnaces, learning modern methods of material testing and processing.

The mechatronics laboratory is equipped with a KUKA industrial robot and training stations for pneumatic and hydraulic systems, enabling students to carry out projects in the field of industrial automation and robotisation.

In the electrical engineering and electronics laboratories, students use modern teaching stations, specialist software, sensor systems, motors, and measuring devices, developing skills essential for modern industry and the digital economy.

The Centre is not only about new equipment. Above all, it is a space where knowledge gained during classes is transformed into practical experience, creative projects, and innovative solutions.

We invest in technology because we invest in the future of our students.
