ERASMUS+ - exchange to the UK
Today, the European Union and the United Kingdom have enabled the UK’s association to Erasmus+ from 2027.
This development means that UK learners, academic staff, higher education institutions, and organisations will participate in the programme on the same terms as those from EU Member States and other associated countries. It effectively restores full access to mobility opportunities and collaborative projects within Erasmus+.
The association places renewed emphasis on people-to-people exchanges, strengthening academic cooperation and fostering closer ties between the European Union and the United Kingdom. For higher education institutions, it opens up broader possibilities for student mobility, staff exchanges, and joint initiatives.
