Erasmus+ Christmas Meeting
On Wednesday, 17 December 2025, the Department of Science and International Cooperation at ANS in Leszno organised a Christmas meeting. The event was attended by Erasmus+ students from Spain and Kazakhstan, ANS students involved in the Buddy Students programme, who support foreign students in their adaptation and everyday life in Poland, as well as students participating in the Erasmus+ international exchange programme in the 2024/2025 academic year. There was also a Fulbright scholar – Dylan Moucka from the USA.
The guests were welcomed by His Magnificence Rector Dr Janusz Poła, Prof. ANS, who wished everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. In his speech, he highlighted the role of international mobility programmes in the development of the university and the importance of intercultural dialogue as an important element of contemporary academic education.
The aim of the meeting was to bring together representatives of different cultures and create a festive, friendly atmosphere. It was an excellent opportunity to talk, make new friends and exchange experiences. During the meeting, foreign guests had the opportunity to try traditional Polish Christmas dishes and learn about the custom of sharing Christmas wafer. An important part of the event was writing Christmas wishes and decorating the Christmas tree together, which the participants did with great enthusiasm. The wishes they prepared were then displayed in the university corridor, where they decorated the space and created a festive atmosphere, becoming a nice touch for the entire academic community.
The meeting was an opportunity to celebrate the upcoming Christmas holidays, as well as a valuable moment of integration for the international community.
