Training of academic teachers – Tenerife

From the 7th to the 12th of October, academic teachers from the Institute of Health and Physical Education, Dr Zuzanna Maćkowiak and Dr Katarzyna Stachowiak, participated in an international training in Tenerife. The training was organised as part of the ERASMUS+ international exchange programme. The training 'We are all special: Inclusion and support of students with special needs in and out of the classroom' was organised by the Europass Teacher Academy.

The course programme covered issues related to migration, cultural diversity and the educational challenges of the 21st century. Special attention was given to people with different emotional and behavioural disorders (ADHD, ADD, depression, bipolar disorder). Collaboration and methods of working with people with motor, intellectual and social disabilities were also discussed.
