Slovenia - students in Novo Mesto

From 14th to 18th October, fifth year Physiotherapy students took part in an international BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) project as part of the ERASMUS+ programme. The project entitled Access to Integrated Home Care for the Elderly:

An Interdisciplinary Search for Innovative Solutions was organised by our partner university in Slovenia, the University of Novo Mesto. The aim of the BIP programme was to learn about the challenges in the field of integrated home care for the elderly and to contribute to finding innovative solutions for the elderly, as well as to strengthen international cooperation and knowledge exchange between participants from different countries.

During their stay at the partner university, the students attended a number of interesting lectures and workshops related to care and the basics of physiotherapy for the elderly. In addition, the participants were able to discover the charms of Slovenia through an organised trip to the capital, Ljubljana. An important element of this mobility is working in an international team and exchanging experiences.

The students not only took part in the residential part of the project in Slovenia, where students from several European universities implemented the project's objectives, but will also take part in the virtual part from 21 October to 4 November.
