International Week - Portugal

The Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo (IPVC) in Portugal hosted the “IPVC International Week” from May 5-9, 2025.
The event brought together universities from across Europe to debate contemporary educational challenges, opportunities for international cooperation within the framework of EU programs, including Erasmus+, as well as issues related to demography and its impact on higher education.
The event was aimed primarily at small universities operating in smaller academic centers, which fostered the exchange of experiences in the context of the specific challenges faced by such institutions.

International meetings of this type provide a valuable platform for exchanging views, experiences, as well as for gaining new competencies and establishing contacts that promote scientific and educational development.

The active participation of a representative of our university - Ms. Dominika Pluta Head of the Department of Science and Foreign Cooperation - has contributed to broadening the prospects for cooperation with foreign universities.

As a result, it will be possible to conclude new agreements enabling academic mobility for both academics and students.
