Erasmus+ Christmas Meeting

On December 17, 2024, a unique Christmas meeting organized by the Department of Science and International Cooperation of ANS in Leszno was held. The event was attended by Erasmus+ students who came to us from Spain and Kazakhstan, as well as ANS students who took part in international exchange programs during the 2024/2025 academic year. The meeting was also attended by Cady Garcia, a Fulbright scholar who came from the US, from the state of Indiana. The meeting was aimed at integrating the international academic community and creating an atmosphere full of joy and tradition. The participation of our university students and foreign guests was a great opportunity to talk and get to know each other. Our foreign guests had the opportunity to taste traditional Polish Christmas dishes and listen to Polish Christmas carols.

Rector, ANS Prof. Janusz Poła, PhD, extended warm Christmas and New Year's wishes to all present, emphasizing the value of international academic relations and integration promoted by the Erasmus+ program. He noted the importance of intercultural cooperation, which allows not only academic development, but also mutual understanding and respect between nations.

The special day also included traditions related to decorating the Christmas tree. Everyone enthusiastically engaged in dressing the tree, which became the main point of the meeting.

The meeting was not only a time to relax and celebrate, but also a great opportunity to integrate the international community, as well as share the joy of the upcoming Christmas season with each other.
