ERASMUS+ for Nursing students (Croatia)

ERASMUS+ for Nursing students (Croatia)

Our nursing students in the academic year 2023/2024 participated in a short-term international mobility within the ERAMSUS+ programme at our partner university, the University of Rijeka, which organised the event.

Second year students Agata, Julia, Kasia and Ola took part in an intensive course (so-called BIP-Blended Intensive Programme) with the theme "Mastering Health Communication in the Era of Misinformation" from 13 to 17 May 2024.

During their stay, the students took part in activities and workshops to develop their skills in critical thinking and analysing information sources, which is crucial in today's world of misinformation. The students learned about different techniques to identify false information and methods of effective communication. In addition to the scientific part, for which the students received ECTS credits, the organisers also provided many cultural activities that allowed our students to get to know the country, its history and culture. Part of the BIP programme is also a compulsory virtual component, which took place before the stay in Croatia and after the students' return.
