Arrival of the Fulbright Scholar

We are pleased to announce that this October our university will once again host a Fulbright scholar in the role of English Teaching Assistant (ETA). In the 2025/2026 academic year, Dylan Moucka will join our teaching staff, supporting students in improving their English proficiency.

Dylan comes from Owasso, a small town in Oklahoma (USA) located near Tulsa. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Tulsa in 2023, also earning certificates in Classics and Religious Studies. He then continued his education at the University of Colorado, where he completed a master’s degree in History in May 2025.

His academic interests focus on 19th- and 20th-century Polish history, particularly Polish-Ukrainian-Belarusian relations in the context of urban life. In the future, he plans to pursue doctoral studies upon returning to the United States.

Outside of academia, Dylan enjoys traveling, exploring cultures from around the world, literature, chess, and learning foreign languages. He is very enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with students in Poland and will support them in developing both their language and intercultural competencies.
