International Academic Exchange - Spain

We are pleased to announce that two students from our partner university, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, have come to study with us under the Erasmus+ programme. They will be studying nursing at our University during the winter semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
From 23-27 September 2024, just before the start of the academic year, the International Office prepared a Welcome Week for the students, which was full of interesting and exciting events. The students got to know our university and our entire campus. A visit to the Monoprofile Medical Simulation Centre, where our students will be doing the major part of their study programme, was of great interest. During a meeting with the Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation, Prof. Maciej Pietrzak, PhD, and the coordinator of the nursing, Dr Maciej Górecki, we discussed in detail our students' plans and timetable.
The International Office also organised a Polish language course and cultural workshops for the students. The workshop and the course will allow our students to learn about our history, the culture of our country and facilitate communication in Polish. The first meeting with the Polish language met with interest and satisfaction on the part of the students.
