13th International Week - Polytechnic University of Santarém

The 13th International Week at the Polytechnic University of Santarém in Portugal took place from 13 to 17 May. The theme of the event was the role of the European Union in higher education, with particular emphasis on the challenges facing modern societies and the importance of multiculturalism in academic institutions. The event was attended by participants from the fields of Computer Science and Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering.

The lecturers presented their projects and learned about the initiatives of other academic institutions. They also engaged in discussions with foreign institutions with a view to establishing new partnerships.

Conferences and thematic sessions provided the faculty with the latest information on societal challenges and the role of higher education institutions in addressing them.

Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering lecturers observed new teaching methods and technologies that inspired them to innovate.

The 13th International Week at Santarém Polytechnic proved to be valuable for the university and for the teachers of Computer Science and Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering. The experience, contacts and teaching inspiration will contribute to improving the quality of teaching, content and technology at our university.
