Nursing students on the BIP programme "VITAL" - Croatia

Nursing students participated in the international Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “VITAL – A Journey Through the Human Body: Virtual and Classical Anatomy”, held from September 15 to 19, 2025, at the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka (Croatia).

The aim of the program was to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy through both classical and modern teaching methods. The course combined lectures, workshops, and virtual simulations, enabling participants to explore the human body in a dynamic and interactive way.

During the program, the students:
• deepened their knowledge of the structure and functioning of the human body,
• used virtual reality tools and 3D simulations,
• took part in practical workshops using anatomical models,
• learned about an interdisciplinary approach combining biology, medicine, and technology,
• established connections with participants from other European countries.

The classes were conducted in English. Participants received 3 ECTS credits, and participation was made possible through the Erasmus+ programme.
