IZKF lecturers at the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) "Vital" in Croatia

From 15 to 19 September 2025, lecturers from the Institute of Health and Physical Education of the Jan Amos Komeński State University of Applied Sciences in Leszno – Dr. Maciej Górecki, Dr. Zuzanna Maćkowiak, and MSc Barbara Kałmuczak-Mania – took part in the Blended Intensive Program (BIP) titled “VITAL – A journey through the human body: virtual and classical anatomy”, organized by the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Health Studies (Croatia).
The aim of the program was to combine modern teaching methods using virtual technology with the traditional approach to teaching anatomy. Participants had the opportunity to learn about innovative educational solutions, exchange experiences with representatives of other universities, and discuss possibilities for further academic cooperation.
In the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, the Institute of Health and Physical Education will host the international BIP program “Interdisciplinary patient care.” We will welcome students and lecturers from our partner universities, including those from Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia.
Moreover, the Institute plans to organize a second international BIP program in the summer semester entitled “Let’s move, don’t exclude,” which will host partner universities from, among others, Portugal, Croatia, and the Czech Republic.
Participation in the VITAL programme was a valuable scientific and teaching experience, contributing to the development of the professional competences of lecturers and to the further internationalisation of the activities of the Institute of Health and Physical Education.
