International Student Day
On November 17, we celebrate International Students’ Day – a special occasion dedicated to young people around the world. It is a moment to highlight the important role that students play in academic, social, and cultural life.
This day also carries a historical significance – it commemorates the events of 1939 in Prague, when many students were arrested and some lost their lives during protests against the Nazi occupation.
On this occasion, we wish all Students much success, satisfaction in learning, perseverance in achieving their goals, and many unforgettable moments throughout their studies.
International Student Day at our university will take place on 20 November. From 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Aula Comeniana, you will be able to play board games and team games such as table football, Jenga XXL and cornhole. At 5:30 p.m., a film marathon will begin with three films: ‘Jack Reacher: One Shot,’ ‘Rebel Without a Cause’ and ‘Loves, Likes, Respects.’ In addition, there will be an Instagram competition and a game of searching for Amos cards, which will be hidden in the university building on 18, 20 and 22 November. Prizes await the lucky winners, and we invite you to collect them from the Marketing Department. For more information, visit our Instagram profile.
